Dupuytren's Contracture

Dupuytren's contracture is a condition that causes knots to build up underneath the skin of the fingers and palms. It can cause the fingers to become stuck in place. Dupuytren's most commonly affects the ring and little fingers and the proximal and middle (joints closest to the palm) causing them to become bent and difficult to straighten. Treatment varies depending on the severity of the knots, or nodules.
